Then you do your karma (picture1) in order of Blue > Green > Yellow up to Rank 6 (Level 21)
Keep doing paradise every week cus its awesome and free stuff is free, and sometimes pick "Bracelets" from the chest choices at the end cause a decent one will help alot, also the paradise orb contributes quite a fair bit to your CP (Combat power)
Your gear at +19 is completely almost endgame and you should only do "Advanced Honing" but i wouldnt hit 1710 yet because u will never get into a pug lobby kinda
Meanwhile you can look up the Ark Grid and get to grips with that a little

Unas? They were removed. You can exchange any tokens you still have. Daily Unas arnt grinded anymore, you finish the rep and they are done. Weekly are part of the Waypoint Missions beside your minimap. The rewards/gold from the gold chests/token exchange were put in chaos gate

from ark passives, evolution ones depend on your armor, so you just need to clear some of act 1 kazeros raids.

Everything till 1700 is perfectly doable solo.
Came back to game myself 2 months ago, and aside of act 4 kazeros raid and behemoths, i'm doing solo raids only

but its slightly cheaper to run regular honing a bit longer since its faster to hit it in one tap

express only makes grace twice as fast, so advance honing isnt as boosted

Chaos dungeon, solo shop, event shops, roster bound red/blue selectors, market (at least blues are still cheap). Though tradeable reds are pretty scarce now, the roster bound stuff may be a better option if you're not in any rush to push your main. Make sure to use books with each hone, decay books should be cheap on the AH if needed/you outpace solo shop books (jk, if you're on NA someone flipped them). Do the T3 honing boost research in stronghold lab.

So I did start the express missions, I tried the Level 1 challenge and didn't even manage to get halfway through the fight if I recall correctly

You're gonna run into some hiccups along the way to 1700 as a new player, whether it be shards, leaps, reds, gold, etc. I'd expect at least a few weeks to make it there to ballpark. Make the most of the solo shop, event shops, paradise keys, daily kurzan, and express missions.

Is the Solo content separate from the group content? Like I have two other buddies that started the game with me, if I do all the solo stuff can I still do the content with them and get rewards from it or do the solo/group content rewards stack together as far as that is concerned?

As a heads up, bards are typically played as support and bard is generally considered the most difficult. If you wanna go bard, go ahead but some players can be rather picky about support performance.

If you do a raid solo, that eats the group entry as well

I would recommend joining a pre-existing one that is high level (and has active players)

leveling a guild from fresh is a long process especially if you're doing it by yourself

Guilds dont offer a lot honestly. There is a guild shop that sells very basic stuff and you need an upgraded guild to buy anything. I would recommend joining an existing guild for a social community to play with

I entered into the overture and I can't come anywhere near killing that boss yet I don't think, I just don't have the damage to complete it in time
