Why is that on the auction house(NA at least I know for sure), the new tier 4.5 honing materials are going at rates above 5 times the 4.0 mats?

For example: Old red stone is 500 gold but new red stone is 3400 gold. But if you just buy tradeable old reds instead of tradable new reds you would effectively pay 2500 gold for the new reds instead.

What am I missing here? Are people literally that rich/too lazy to exchange at the NPC? Or are there some other systems/restrictions in play I'm not understanding?

1. I know the mechs are very easy overall. But is the DPS check hard(in particular nightmware)? Is there rumble/brawl to help with damage? Is there a first week/frontier like title as far as we know?

2. How long does it take to get enough buy the ancient core boxes? I see pictures that it needs 400 of the new currency from that dungeon, how many do you get a week in each mode?

Hold. Cores them selves don't do anything without the cut astrogems to activate them. In the meanwhile, raiding will also give you a chance to hit cores so you don't end up with dupes.

But for specific builds, you'll generally have a priority core or minumum to make a build work
