My 2 chars will probably do fine but my other 4 will be doomed to not get accepted until I reach them 1700+ as well. What's the optimal way to manage roster? drop the mokoko leaf to do raids with main char or just slowly get them all to 1709 then drop the leaf?

Well first of all ImDefiled is the typical youtube clickbait kind of channel. Advice and stuff might not always be the best.
Just trust your gut, there is no rush to hone. If you dont want to lose your leaf for your alts just stay under 1710 for now. Do what you feel like will be best for you

Thats varies from person to person. Personally I've never been in that situation. I've been playing since the start, have a solid roster and never needed mokoko status.
I guess generally speaking I've learned patience is king. Things only get easier if you take your time

Have you finished buying out the blue mokoko token shop? Also I guess it depends on the position of your alts. If they need to do group raids or if they can just solo if poorly geared.

Is that was my roster. I would park for a little. Hone my alts to at minimum 1680 & get ancient gear/accessories. I would hone my main to 1709 & move my alts to 1700. Then when everyone is established start honing my main beyond 1710. For now your main at 2200cp is looking good

If you don't care at all about group raids, you can hone your main more & take advantage of the veteran side of the mokoko shop. But if you do like group raiding stay as a mokoko maybe

I'd be inclined to push if I had the materials. Imo you'd be decent enough for kazeros/serca at 1710, but you'll need to find the time and group to learn both raids. But it'll boost your ark grid progression a lot. The guardian knight is more or less good enough for a4 normal. I would probably just solo raid the rest of the roster tbh and not sweat their gearing too much until later, especially since lower lvl raids are kinda more sparce. Up to you though.

I guess thats depends on how fast/slow you want to progress. Honing only on hell rewards is super efficient for mats/gold but it can be really slow. If youre eager to get to further content & move beyond, honing with unbound gold 1 char at a time might be worth it

Its always more fun to be progressing a new raid when other people are as well

1680, 1700, 1710 are all good spots for alts to hang out at once you get them there

1680 so you can get ancient accessories/bracelets going, 1700 so you can start getting cores and stack astrogems, 1710 for core progression and more gold income

Looking back at your roster again, I'd definitely push. Your 1670s are a good bit of honing away from 1700 to even really benefit from the mokoko status. Like 575k gold, 30m silver, and 4k fusions assuming no event, average luck, and having books for normal honing + juice for full orb AH.

My main igniter Sorc is 1730 with full lvl 8 gems.
However, I’m thinking about combining 9 of them to a lvl 10 gem, preferably Doomsday damage.
Id have full 7’s, 2 8’s and a 10.
It’s probably less CP, but considering that doomsday is more than 50% of my total damage output, wouldn’t it be worth it?

Since i am too stupid to grasp idea what is good without trying, and too poor to be trying on green astrogems, is there any good source that someone can recommend me, where i can learn "what do i look for, which gems do i cut, should i be combining 3 gems, and all other stupid questions i might have?"

Distortion is 9wp blue, so thats fine to cut. In fact, it has better side nodes than corrosion so at some point you may want to prioritize cutting them over corrosion. But it will be harder to cut something useful, so corrosion is more useful to start with.

shards, like silver, are a real slow burn, you'll get a lot of them very very gradually with the occasional freebie bonus, and someone may never run out but if you do you'll see just how glacial it can be to build back up

(starting fresh in T4 but having a bunch of other mats saved up is a guaranteed pain-point, just have to keep grinding and work on other things til you catch up on shards)

Due to lucky hell drops and errors of the past, my non powerpassed paladin end up with 60k char bound gold, 700 fusion mats, 1655 item lvl and no advanced honing done.

I do normal honing to 1660, adv honing to 1680 (1-20) then normal honing to 1700 (mostly through free taps from paradise)

If you're about send it to hone up to the next ilvl bracket (next raid, hell key, ancient stuff, ark grid, etc), I'd just send the last key and not sweat whether a hell altar appears or not. No fusions in nether keys anyways as far as honing stuff goes.

Getting to 17p on a core is way more value than having more than 17

And side nodes are also more value than going over 17

I like to run my gems through the ark grid calc to figure out what combos I need to hit minimum values and then from there I choose side nodes accordingly within those thresholds

You don't need alts, but if you want and can make alts, 1640 is when it doesn't cost a lot and the returns are decent, if you want alts higher wait for express events and powerpasses

1585 is literally free if you manually do everything, or just pay 600g for the first skip which saves half the time, which is a lot of hours
