so there is literally no penalty at and therefore no point in having this for every "challenge" bcus i can just hone to the moon and send aegir and its fine

Noticing some inconsistencies with 240mech Serca.
So high level, after clearing it like 9 times on all my chars, what I noticed vs what I thought should be the case differs.
What I thought:
JG1, JG2, space 2 safe spot (IF JG2 = Lunge then JG3, JG4 at safespot.
Stagger after JG1 but not 2 much since u need to watch out for JG2 into safespot coming up, if JG2 was not lunge, stagger more, if lunge, 2 more JGs.
After that, mech repeats itself, only variable is lunge vs single JG.
However, in reality
JG, 2nd JG, safespot, JG, JG, back to middle for round 2, JG then sometimes the 2nd lunge or overhead swing doesn't happen for ages and u can just keep staggering till hes staggered and othertimes the 2nd JG happens very quick and ur in middle of animation.
How do u determine when hes gonna do quick vs slow 2nd JG during round 2???
Sometimes I'm just there waiting for 2nd JG which doesn't come for the longest time and other times I correct from the above by spamming stagger only to get hit by 2nd JG coz he chose to very quickly start the 2nd JG and I'm stuck in animation.
I been circumventing the issue by using my biggest stagger skill fast after 2nd round of JG1 coz theres always a small gap between that and JG2 then slowly using other skills leaving a pause incase of the fast variant of the 2nd JG but this is inefficient when I need to carry ppl who got knocked up or if I'm on a low stagger class.

Its a grey area. You can do it, you probably wont get banned but its not exactly allowed. If you start funneling high amounts of gold consistently there is always the chance to be flagged as a bot

Originally I had fully changed every ark passive tree/ my gems/ ark grid etc. but then i realized peacemaker was always 300 less than TTH
so i narrowed it down to the enlightment tree

Arcana can be a bit rough for new/returning players. They're high apm and can take a some extra work to get comfy with the rng cards.

Back read a bit. For what its worth, I think people in general would consider arcana more difficult than gunslinger. TTH is also definitely much stronger than before and can be a bit easier with just 2 weapons to cycle between. Arcana is kinda a low floor high ceiling class, but has a real high ceiling and has been for a little while so it always shines in real end game content. The arkesia tour in game helps you skip through a lot of horizontal content including a good chunk of sailing/island content.
The in game play test isn't ideal tbh, if you're interested in a class you can try to powerpass and do some bosses on another region since powerpasses are by region/account.

Sure, I can see that. But tbh majority of players aren't going to be playing anywhere near ceiling. And if we told all the new players to play arcana, most of them would probably have a bad time. So typically I'd say play what you enjoy. If arcana otherwise aligns with what you want, then sure go for it. But since balance patches can shift the meta significantly and this isn't the easiest game to main swap in (even though arcanas keep matrix dodging nerfs somehow).

I initially assumed it worked like normal items, in which case it's just ~8x the dmg of a WW, but looking at the tooltip the dmg number doesn't have the same green color as the Tul Rak, so I think Tul Rak may actually just be normal damage, in which case it's just like Bleed procs and other such things that scale with most things.

knowledge transfer = pay gold and skip story, 0 to 1585 you get gear, 1585 onwards you have to hone and a KT* will only skip the story (you still get the t4 gear from north kurzan story to use later when you get to 1620>1640 on hone transfering)
it costs gold and you cant go from 0 to 1585 instantly, you have to KT every continent, so it will take like 100k gold total or something dumb

These events help push you into end game and do more interesting content right away
Generally speaking, early game honing & stuff was removed so its easier to play the story. Dailies and weeklies don't take very long so you don't need a massive time commitment.
