Engraving books can be obtained various ways through many various NPC exchanges, event shops & event handouts
The Arkesia Tour will have you complete a number of simple quests and reward you with a large amount of horizontal & collectable completion including more skill points & addition skill runes to help your build.
If a Mokoko Express is ongoing, activate it from an icon beside your minimap. It will provide free items to help with the process above as well as provide things like honing support to make progression easer. There is only 1 Mokoko Express per region so choose your character carefully!

1580 slows down becase you need to start honing, raids and dailies should give you good supply of materials to push

At 1700 you buy the legendary ark grid core selector from gold shop, sit on it til you find one of your two main class cores for activating and making destiny do something, then you select the other
It’ll be the quickest way to get functional ark grid set up on alts since your pity on nm act 4 alone will take ages pre final act
Aside from that it’s just make sure all your horizontal power increases are done, karma, etc, get them in single high acc, get them the lvl 7 gold shop gems

in four weeks you will have enough leaps to push to 1620
so about 6 weeks total to push a 1585 to 1620
6 weeks sounds like a long time to farm the leaps, but this game has always been about either spending your money or your time to push a character up
