One of my main hold-ups right now is that so many people are used to doing most of the raids like clockwork, and they mostly only want other people who are also doing homework clears that I have a stupidly hard time finding any learning/prog groups, and I do not learn well if I'm getting carried with a week between clears. However, I heard someone say that next cycle(?) the game is shifting away from large raids and moving into smaller raids that are friendlier. Is this true, or did I misunderstand something?

Honestly - there's not really a good answer to this imo. a lot of learning parties have come and left for mordum and under. You may just need to take the L and try to host your own learning parties and see if anyone is willing to help teach

another thing that helps me is just compartmentalizing a lot of the raids. Mordum G3 for example in normal mode is just permutations of the same mechanic over and over again

the big thing is if you're still struggling with your base rotation - you're gonna struggle learning mechanics

the problem is unless you're willing to buy busses for the new raids, you're still going to be missing things to be let in to the new raid in April - even if you are willing to learn it with LPs at the time because you'll likely be missing ark grid from act4/kazeros

(and if you're just gonna buy those, why even bother playing this game?)

I would use solo modes as a stepping stone for learning and then slam yourself into party raids (while using Memo's or Deathboi's raid guides to help learn)

if u look at the line rankings, ig the grades kinda make sense

maybe the kick reward one is good for dual tool grade tho

In logging tab (tabs are at the bottom) enter all the gold values for the materials on the right side, then enter the tool values you circled in Red.

That's from leveling up life skills

And from the Charm you equip in your profile

Honestly, even if you fix the passive part the 2 tools are probably very close.
If you swap to the +kick reward one when kicking the one with +Kick Attempts should be the better one.

You can test that by also entering the Kick Reward value of the kick tool you swap to

The level up and charm bonuses are additive with tool bonuses

Meaning value of diff bonuses changes a bit
