these are just recommendations, not strict rules
the idea is:
you start at 1640, you normal hone to +12 -> 1650
then you AH 1-10, making you 1660
then normal hone to +14 -> 1670
then AH 11-20, making you reach 1680
and so on...

you can use the pheons and the card exp, the rest are like just use them when you need them, aura is better used after you get an understanding of the game mechanics and know that the QoL will help you daily

battle items get some as you need them for when you do legion raids or kazeros raids

honestly advanced honing 1-20 is really cheap right now that using scrolls/breaths don't matter that much
the game does give you a lot of scrolls if you used the express on that character

using a scroll 250-700g ea-ish depending on the day gives you on average 2x the progress for a normal tap, and AH takes anywhere from like 400-1200 g per tap + materials

so if you have extra gold for scrolls then its a good idea to use them to save materials (and depending on the price of the scroll it can just be pure gold saved as well)

if its the express char and you don't have extra gold from other sources then just save scrolls and juice for full orbs

I personally fully scroll the entirety of my ah 1-20 on all my chars

but saved breaths for full orbs unless I had a shitton

to answer your question nobody does raids at that ilvl you're pretty much forced to do them solo if you want any gold from them. you will need to hone them into T4 but even then the older T4 content is also starting to become redundant, other ways you can ear unbound gold is by lifeskilling for example

you can clear a raid 30 times OR reach item level 1700

then you loose your mokoko leaf

so you shoud keep your char at 1699 and empty the mokoko shop

and use that time to learn the raids etc

if they're normal t3 gems then yeah you can upgrade them to t4

t4 gems sell well

or check your class

some classes get a lot of value out of using a level 10 T3

otherwise just upgrade and either sell or combine to use on a char u need it for

level 5 T4s down to 13k each or so on NA

there are ways to be efficient with it right now but it still takes a lot of time / materials/ gold and costs $ to speed it up

honing 1 char from 1580 to 1640 (t4 start) costs 150-250k in pure gold right now

and we're expecting to get no gold t3 honing in a month or so

at 1580 you get paradise

which gives good materials

idk exact details on "story express" and if we're going to get it soon or not

im pretty sure it'll allow people to skip having to hone most t3 gear
