At 1680 youll transition to Ancient accessories. Those relic ones you have now will work fine until then so honestly, every relic accessory, just dismantle them. They dont really matter.
At 1680, for ancients, everything under 67 quality is automatically trash. Accessories have enlightenment points on them and you get the most point from 67+ quality.

Its an alternative to honing to balance out the cost of 1 taps & pities in normal honing. It is ultimatly just honing. 1 ilvl per adv hone level, levels 1-10 is like honing normally 2 times.

the only reason to do it in batches of 5 or 10 is to hit the item level thresholds for teh gold bonuses

coz no matter how u do it ur gonna need adv honing +20 to reach 1680, 1690 or 1700

u can mix and match
