Ah .. I'm not sure it's worth using this on my Valkyrie .. This is what my alts look like. I'm hesitating now, cause I see a ton of honing books in there .. but not sure what to do. My lowest char is 1660, which is also already quite high.
It would obviously be most efficient to use it on a new char .. but yeah, Idk.

if you enjoy all your alts id say just do it on one of your main 5 alts
from power pass to 1680 it costed me only 60k so far of my own gold outside of the event
though did get a bit lucky

I like Arcana, but its pretty sweaty for an alt.
And I enjoy Valk most out of my alts

What you miss out on is a little bit of extra gold from the express event.
But it's not worth to use on a fresh barebones 1640. Use it on one of your 1680s you like playing to push it to 1700.

if its the express char you should follow the progression
+14 to 1660, then ah 1-10 to 1670, then ah 11-20 for 1680, then 15-18
the bosses/missions give you materials in that order

I think with around 300k? or so extra gold and 500 or so extra fusion I was able to hit 1700 from 1640 in about 3 hrs (now that I think about it I had some extra shards too)
you won't have enough eyes to full AH 11-20 week 1 unless you run 1x Echi HM

The Arkesia Tour will have you complete a number of simple quests and reward you with a large amount of horizontal & collectable completion including more skill points & addition skill runes to help your build.
If a Mokoko Express is ongoing, activate it from an icon beside your minimap. It will provide free items to help with the process above as well as provide things like honing support to make progression easer. There is only 1 Mokoko Express per region so choose your character carefully!
Congrats, you now have a functional build to start trying activities like daily Chaos Dungeons, Guardians & weekly Solo Raids.
