its coz of 2 key factors newbies dunno about.

1. The lightning stops when orb spawns so u have to time kill orb without worryin about lightning
2. U need 3 freeze stacks to freeze so getting 1 by going into the field to kill the orb is actually good, u wanna be on 2 stacks when u kill last orb to guarantee freeze, its just jebating new players into panicking

yeah ok so some solo raids are simpler now than they were before

ive been doing solo akkan on lower chars and for g1 its uh

he'll spawn green/black orbs around the arena, just go attk and pick 1 up

then he'll throw 1 or 2 spears down onto the arena

then he'll crash back down and start a big black web-like arena attk

you need to stand in one of his spears before the big black web-like arena attk finishes

standing in the spear will stun you and do some dmg but you'll be able to avoid his arena-sized black attk

after that you're just doing DPS until like 40 bars

where you need to stagger him, which is easiest with the blue Sidereal dude

then its just DPS to finish

no need to worry about panacea yellow potion

you should be doing chaos/guardian on each char daily for materials but also for EXP

can do unas daily if you have extra time for more EXP as well

including the ark pass skin

I personally got the current ark pass skin with blue crystals and I also buy lifeskilling pots very often. Though blue crystal prices are through the roof now so that's kind of dead

Lost Ark is designed to motivate players to swipe in a lot of ways. Super low base card inventory is one of those ways. (Though to be fair the game has improved a ton since I last played on release, with even more W changes for your up and coming roster in the December update as we talked about a day or 2 ago)

• Fate Ember: As a random drop from Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids there is a chance for varying Silver amounts to be rewarded.
• Quests: Leveling to 70/ilvl1640.
• Express Events/Growth Systems: Silver chests awarded via boost events.
• Rapport: Many rewards from NPC Rapport include Coins that can be consumed for some Silver.

yeah tbh if u just take ur time u can do any guardian raid solo, it just takes a lot of time but you basically cannot do anything else solo except for solo raids

Also I would recommend switching your card set to Star Of Destiny. Itll give you a little bit of damage. & use teh class guides on lostark.nexus to set up Ark Passive. In your Profile (P), bottom left, click the arc passive to see the trees and assign points

Youre low ilvl so there is a limit to what you can do but by fixing up those things, your skills & engravings youll get a lot more damage. Itll help with doing solo stuff

Minigames are minigames.For lifeskills. Excavating has one, it's random and its like a little game that lets you dig a chest up.

yes its probably because your shaders cache needed to rebuild.. if you play for like 10-15minutes it should sort itself out

Ideally you want to use an express pass. There should be a free one available to you right now. That will skip you to 1585. But if you are interested in going through the story normally you should make an alt and use the express pass on that character.

Going though the entire story is no longer the intended way to progress through the game.

hey guys, I need a bit of advice to chose my character, between reaper and deathblade. I'm looking for something fast paced, fun, and with high skill expression so that I can grow into it if you know what I mean. also if it looks good and cool that's a bonus

Deathblade is often referred to as the most broken class in Lost Ark
And during the time I was playing and right now as well .. it has been and is always among the top DPS. Deathblade has two playstyles .. one is slow, calculated focused on strategic INSANE, utterly insane bursts .. the other playstyle is fast, high apm, spammy

Now Reaper .. is an entirely different beast. Arguably the highest skill ceiling in the entire game.

That class basically enables creative mode, if u can manage it.

However, Reaper isn't just "with high skill expression", to "grow into it", as u said

It demands peak performance

Or u'll suck. And u'll be floor dps every raid. And people wont like u very much.

So out of the two, Deathblade is definitely more casual and still has a high skill ceiling. The skill ceiling from deathblade comes mostly from knowing raids very well, understanding mechanics, burst windows, etc.

Reaper demands all this as well, but also demands that u can handle its movement, its teleportations, its rotations require perfection for max dmg output

Its a lot.

I suggest u look at full raid runs of the two first

Go to youtube, type in "Lost Ark deathblade full mordum" for example

Or "full brelshaza"

do the same for reaper

See what u like more

But keep in mind, the crazy shit u'll see reapers do in those videos requires a ton of skill, its not easy and its not overstated

Lost Ark is closer to a Souls like than a traditional mmo already

And Reaper doesnt make this any easier, it makes this even harder

I'm active now since about 2 months again

So, im not sure how much has changed of this information

But balance patches mostly adjust damage output of classes, nothing else

So it might be very well the case that deathblade does less damage now while demanding the same

Or reaper does more, im not entirely sure

Ultimately however .. any class in the game can reach MVP in a raid

This only realistically changes if u put 8 players in a raid that are all flawless on their class

Only then, ud see the limits of each class

It was faster, starting at Tier 2, because the express gave you the gear needed to progress without honing
