It's both. They get up to speed then they don't have to use their unbound/bound gold to hone those extra characters. If you want 7+ characters making gold rather than just the raid experience, then that's a diff thing altogether. They can very well fund themselves through paradise. The lowest you can still get is using your char bound gold to cut dud ancients from raids/paradise.

if that is a t3 level 10 gem

the base dmg would be only 10.57 then multiply by 1.36 for a t4 level 8 dmg gem

it would be only a .42 dmg loss on brutal impact

but if u add in the .8% atk power, 99.58*1.008 = 100.37664

which is more dmg than before

but lemme still cook
