Also, a lot of solo only players I've met end up being on the verge of quitting due to a few reasons which are likely the reasons why you feel like quitting.

1. Solo Raids are way too easy. There is no way to challenge yourself. If you truly enjoy the game and it's combat, traditionally you would want something more challenging as challenge = dopamine fun for a lot of people.
2. Only bound gold. Cannot buy anything off the market
3. You cannot join the honeymoon phase of doing the newest raid on launch and have to wait a while to experience that raid.

Thus those solo players I've met in those situations like you are, transition to party finder with my assistance and haven't had any issues since then.
