This is where most people who start newly get stuck at, so no big deal. Next week you will be able to reach 60 and depending on your luck could reach 70, you usually just continue honing until you reach 1680, in here you going do some things that increases your damage. Mainly working on karma, accessories and try to get full level 7 gems, the express gives you everything but 3, so you need to work on getting the last 3.

If you are a skin enjoyer, maybe wait on that. Spending it on a powerpass isn't the worse idea. It's just that with more alts, comes more time invested into the game lol.
Just keep in mind that getting out of Tier 3 deadzone on a powerpassed character can take some time outside of an event. But it is ultimately an extra 12k gold per week at 1585 , assuming you don't have 6 characters.
And technically extra roster level as well since you can run Tier 1/2 Tower on it.

Chaos dungeon is faster with a specific setup vs raid build

Because all mobs are not applied to the Grudge engraving. They are all 'challenge monsters'. So pre-emptive strike is used.

You are fighting a mob of enemies. So you need large AOE attacks to hit all of them. And you use preemptive strike so you can one shot them.

And some tripods on some skills have larger AoE + more damage to challenge monsters.
Thus large AoE skills, high swiftness stat for the lowest CD possible, pre-emptive strike, etc makes chaos dungeon a lot faster.
