If you mean prokel, countering does two things: stops his pattern and puts him on a cool down based on difficulty (normal longer cooldown) where he can no longer appear in certain brel patterns until the cooldown is over

Do not swap bracelets, the leap node does not do anything even if your bracelet is good. The only time you swap bracelets is at 1680 with ancient bracelets or 1670 if you hit a good bracelet (2 stat or above) and you get leap node unlocked via karma
