1680 is probably a decent stopping spot. You get ancient accessories and access to all of the raids. When you get there you can focus on getting high/lows in every slot for like 100k each. IMO gems and books are kind of a trap early on so focus on elixirs/trans/high low accessories, and then karma/leap/enlightenment potions

I'd powerpass 2 chars (cause you get 2)
and dump all events onto 1 of them
and do all of your solo raids for this week
3x on each char, (they'll give you bound gold)
also do Paradise
if you do those 6x raids and paradise before the weekly reset then you'll be in a really good spot
solo raids are quick once you learn the mechanics
the reason I suggest this is because as a new player the event gives you a ton of materials but you'll get gated on gold when upgrading your gear
