The old death blow striker is a prime example of needing to weed out every nitty gritty bit of info to understand what u need to do, why u need to do it and what u need to adjust to ur specific gear etc… valk is no where near that complex but u still gotta understand every recommendation made for the class and why otherwise u wont really know what ur doing still and essentially button mashing

different fights have different mechanics that favor certain types of DPS

keep in mind hes a back attacker so you have to hit the boss from behind in g3 for example though theres a point in the fight where all attacks from anywhere on the boss count as back attacks

I just came back to the game and noticed that it’s possible to claim the Founder’s Pack on the Jump Start servers (like Gienah in EU).

The thing is, I’m actually playing on Ratik, and I was wondering if I could open the Founder’s Pack on Gienah just to get the 30 days of Crystalline Aura, and then use that subscription while playing on Ratik.

Also, a broader question I have is whether it’s really worth subscribing. Is it better to purchase the Aura with gold, or is that too expensive and not worth it?

I think with the current exchange rate, it’s around 40k gold per month to maintain a subscription. I’m not really sure what that represents in terms of the current endgame economy, or how much gold a roster can realistically generate each month.

One last question about gatekeeping.
I really don’t want to fall back into the same issues that made me quit before. I used to run 6 alts, all DPS, and ended up spending more time looking for groups than actually playing the game.

So my question is: does having support alts really help bypass this problem and get into group content faster compared to DPS alts? I’ve heard mixed opinions — some say there are too many supports right now and it’s better to stick with DPS.

Also, I was wondering if playing DPS isn’t that much of an issue anymore thanks to the new features (like solo raids and the upcoming AI groups that might solve the gatekeeping problem).
