Normal honing is RNG. If it's fast and easy for you, go with normal honing. Ah give you a 100% chance that you'll level up a bit, but it will take you a while

If you can click ah correctly, it won't be a problem for you

u can lvl that all the way to 1490 if u want, but at 1415 u can fight valtan to get relic gear and vykas at like uh 1430 or 1445 i forgot, but betwen the 2 u get relic gear

and at 1490 +19 for it all u fight brel and upgrade the relic to ancient. which gives u like 10-20 levels

i lvled to 1490 on my gunlancer without doing vykas or valtan lul. did it eventually though. i'm not 100% sure if it still works. but if u hit 1490 u can do brel and transfer a valtan/vykas piece to brel gear. and dismantle the old stuff to make a new valtan and vykas piece

You should just transfer. If you have a ton of leftover mats(mainly t3 shards) then you can consider advanced honing a bit but don't stress over it/buy materials.

I kept buying out the books and fusions every week from the soloraid shop for a long time and that helped getting 1600 to 1620 easier for me. Thought he books are super cheap now i think on auction house. so no need for that. Also work paradise to get fusions, gold, and special honing should help. Use books and honing support stuff everytime cause when u hit 1620 to go t4, u can't bump those over.

It can be a pain sometimes, but u get some elixirs from event stuff and eventually u hit a 5/5 on a piece which makes it easier to get the 40 cause u can do some 3/4's, i've had characters that got their 40 piece with just like 15 elixirs, and others that took like 40. Also isnt' there some event that gives 40 elixir? i could be wrong.

Transcendence has sort of a pity system. The more u fail, the better the odds get over time. The cost was slightly reduced and it's mindless just click now. I would at least get ur chest piece done. Trans over all adds a massive amount of damage when it's done. i think i went from like 55k attack power to over 75k when i finished it. maybe more. It's hard to remember.

Yea the problem with NE se in HW raids where the boss is phasing fast is you have to build up your gauge to enter into soul snatch and then use your t skill then squeeze in double lethal spinning casts then you use soul decap, problem is if the parties phasing boss fast they can phase before you can even enter into soul snatch, and your gauge you have built up begins to decrease during the mech so your dps falls down a cliff in HW raids

This is the smart move in general cause it takes time to learn your character and boss mechanics. There's a lot of visual noise in the legion and kazero's raids. Takes time to learn what to ignore and what to focus on. And learning positioning is huge.

When i first started i was constantly laying on the floor cause i tried playing like i would in other games to just attack attack attack. But positioning and timing is really big in this game. Understanding ur character and having smooth rotations to dish out nonstop damage while staying in good positions took me some time to learn.

And on top of that. learning how to counter, learning what moves are ur good stagger moves for stagger checks. Knowing what ur weak point skills are for destruction checks. Some people can dive straight in to end game and pick up fast. but it's alot and if i didn't learn the ropes from the beginning, i would not be having a good time lul.

For the most part, until u get really good, staying between 5 and 7 o clock behind the boss, and relatively close, is a good start. Enough distance to where u can see things and dodge. but close enough to where u can hit. A mistake i made when i was new was being too far away and in the front too often. When you're closer, it's easier to circle around the boss and dodge things usually.
