tbf i play the "harder" spec nights edge instead of the easier spec full moon harvester, but i hate the way fmh plays it feels super clunky and slow compared to nights edge, problem with nights edge is you have a mode you build up by using skills where you do like 50% of your damage but during a mech you lose the gauge youve just tried to build up.

New player here. I have a question about powerpass. I've heard that it boost your character to lvl 50 right away? Is that something I should use as a new player? I personally am not in a rush to reach endgame really fast, but I'm also worried about what I might miss out on if I don't? Another question: can you activate a powerpass on a character that you already started playing on, or does it have to be activated on a new character?

You can activate it on an old character, if you want to play through the story and early game you can do that on one character powerpass another, we will be getting a 2nd powerpass next week so when you get to a point you feel walled on the story character you can powerpass them as well

You should take advantage of the powerpass and make atleast 1 character at 1585 to start getting some small amount of gold from solo raids and stuff

you dont need to use the express on them yet, but the sooner you have 1 character doing some solo raids the faster your other characters will progress

so currently the event thats running we get a powerpass the powerpass instantly boosts you to item level 1585 (in this game your characters actual level doesnt actually matter much item level is king here and mainly what matters) the express event you can then activate on a 1585 character and it helps you hone and progress your gear up to item level 1660 (itll stake a couple weeks to get there) this however skips all story content befolre south kurzan which is close to where we are currently in the story (theres two regions after south kurzan north kurzan and south rimeria).

If you want to play from scratch itll probably take you like 100+ hours to get to south kurzan naturally

so you have a couple months

what i recommend for people in your situation is you make 1 story character and 1 powerpass character, the powerpass character you only spend like 5-10 minutes a day on doing dailies here and there (dont have to even do it every day just start building up resources) and run crucible/elysian to start getting blue keys on it for hell.

Sorc does a lot of DPS but it’s quite slow compared to some other classes. Slow to cast spells, not the best mobility, etc.

generally wind fury is "mash random buttons, itll work" but i personally find the "click shield, then damage otherwise no dps" harder/more overwhelming than drizzle where you just charge meter with 2-3 skills and then mash random buttons and it'll work no matter what

swift classes provide are more foolproof most of the times, but lower ceiling i believe, spec classes are not so forgiving if you miss skills for example but provide more damage and higher ceiling

Hi, I have played LA when it launched, for a few months and then got bored, I honestly don't remember what exactly it was though.

Now Im thinking of coming back, because I did like the combat bit at least. Now, I know what Im about to ask is probably something that is being asked in here every day, but I just wanna make sure that before I get back into it, I know the state of the game.

I don't plan on being competitive or to be in some leaderboards. I just wanna be casual about it, be able to progress solo and not feel like I need to team up with a clan or a group of people, just to progress. I read that solo raids and stuff have been introduced, so I hope things got better, but how is it looking right now? And how are they going about the fomo with the costumes, is that also still a thing?

Correct, but only if you are able to land it without him moving out of it in the next pattern he does. You really have to pay attention to what pattern he may do and predict when is the good opportunity to throw the trap at him when he is staying at the same spot

Even if you were 1670 and were ready for the leap lv1, that bracelet sucks big time. Look for ones with 2 slots to roll (and then get your 2 combat stats at the minimum) or 1 of your combat stats and roll for the other one. If you're a spec class look for semi high spec, nothing spectacular as you will switch again at 1680, but if the one you get is good you can later upgrade it to ancient.

its jsut something i noticed, i play couple of accounts, to catch up quicker... and i need to switch accounts alot. what i noticed is this.. the Lost ark process takes usually around 30 - 60 seconds to close roughly, BUT sometimes it takes like 5-10 minutes, every like 20th time or so, i believe its the easy anti cheat process, cause that procss is still open whenever i check the opened process in the process explorer
