Unlock leap 1, Unlock Enlight 1-5, Return to leap 2-6, 1-6 evo, finish rank 6 enlight. That order for dps. I would at least get your enlight tree to rank 5 to get max nodes incvested

Also to add, you can park almost anywhere tbh. 1680 is best to have ancient gear. 1690 doubles your karma mat gain, 1700, unlocks hm mordum which isnt too bad without max karma. From there we have nothing & the next strike raid is 1720 hm.
You can basically safely park anywhere between 1680-1720+ while doing karma
Just try not to fully neglect karma the higher ilvl you go
