"waned desire" achievement is defeating gate 1 of echidna, the overture kazeros raid

even if you do the challenge for echidna it doesnt count

and for the AH mission after you beat echi gate 1 you only temper the gear and tap once to complete the mission since you are probably a new player ignore advance honing until you hit +14 on your next t4 gear set.

I am looking to spend a little.. what would be my best bet.. should I be looking at the founders pack (platinum/gold) or crystaline sub, etc

founders packs are generally a good deal yeah, and buying skins to sell in the market later is probably better than straight up buying gold with it. bikini skins are always popular, and you can sell them months later after they left the store for even more gold.

Usually that way you get more gold than you would from directly exchanging the RC -> Gold

downside is, you might have to wait

No, im just saying, if you are looking to spend money and wanna make the most of it to help with your character, like in his situation, new player stuck at 1600 currently. Its better to buy skins and sell them vs buying the gold directly.

Thats like 150k ish. for 2.4k RC (These sets are currently available in F4 store, the price is likely going to increase when it leaves the store.)

vs buying 150k with currency exhange would be around 4k RC
