You upgrade to T4 the same way you upgraded every other gear set: you hone until you reach the ilvl to do a new dungeon, and then you play the dungeon to get new gear and then transfer from the old gear

for me it was Abidos (t4 chaos dungeons), that helped me push. When you do it you get the token, and you can exchange it to more tries to abidos. Just run them and you get a lot of exp.

start slow grab ur cards off wandering merchants you'd probably have to do alot of solo modes till u reach later progression.

KR is going to put a lot of T3 legendary cards into the wandering merchants if not all of them. They'll probably get the change this summer and we'll probably get it in the fall. So you'll be able to finish it faster compared to before this change.

you can never pay and still advance, the question is, do you plan on playing from 0 doing all the story etc or did you want to get to the "end game" asap due to the events
the story and cinematics and such is cool to do the first time, you can chill and play at your pace
if youre going casual you can just do all manually, enjoy the game and eventually enjoy the solo raids
