on the bright side, you only have to reach 1620, not 1640

when you reach 1620, you get the next set of gear which puts you at 1640

Event wise? only the shops, you missed the actual selectable events. That said, they just nerfed the dead zone from 1600 to 1620 so you will have a much easier time honing, just mash the hone button whenever you have mats.

Basically have to get 20 flowers minimum

7 meaning 7 levels
3 meaning 3 flowers.

You only need 6/7 to be at 7 and the other to be at 2 for 20
