hey folks, i'm a returning player. I gave up 2 years ago when my gear level was 1430 and there wasn't any more story besides raids. i want to come back to play through the new story content elgacia and onwards. But I'm not sure if i can if my main is still 1430 and honing him up to 1460 seems a lot of mats and lot of work.
do any of you experts have advice on how i can best utilize the current event and powerpass to help me play the story on my main? if I create a new character and use the powerpass on the new char it will take me to 1500+ right? but how do I get my main up to 1460? knowlede transfer? I'm a little lost here. I just want to play through the story stuff....please reply directly to this msg if you have any advice.

The event helps a bit mats wise and with higher hone chances I think? So yeah probably main so you can save resources and get higher than 1640 which is a common parking spot for lazy folks with several rosters, unless you don't mind and have a static to get to raiding fast, then you can do both, but probably the alts will be higher than the actual main, up to you honestly, just be mindful of the total gold cost
