They give out lots of events and stuff that make pushing an alt nearly free. Over time, most players end up with lots of them. Though, making them without events isn’t a great idea.

Since lost ark is a daily/weekly lockout kinda game, you’ll quickly run out of things to do per day/week with only one character. But it’s up to you if you wanna play more.

You can do some daily activities like chaos dungeon (main source of mats to hone, gems and stuff) or weekly which are the big boi raids, your main source of progression (armors, upgrades) and gold, but since you can only get gold from 3 of them per char per week, people make alts to either get more resources weekly (or daily with dailies) or just to play more with a different class, to have fun

But, outside of real good progression events (which come every 2~4 months) leveling an alt from scratch is pain

Very very costly

So, it's a long term thing to have alts at a high item level

Needed? No
Can help with your main char progression? Yes if you play it slow and wise

Or just whale and buy powerpasses and stuff

A lot of class homogenization and dumbing down, and an unskippable MSQ that is incredibly long and drawn out. But don't worry, you can pay to skip it I had my fun with it but it's time for me to move on!

You don't have the correct type of gold. To craft tradeable items (including Oreha), you need to pay the crafting cost with Unbound gold. The alternative way to craft Orehas with Bound gold is to unlock the farm at Stronghold level 10 and craft bound Orehas with the farm materials.

Getting the part specific effects is much more important that having a secondary dmg line

Yeah it's worth it, especially early game raids where it's hard to find people, at 1540 you can do Brelshaza, Kayangel

That find the guardian quest I think it's a very long chain of quests about guardian lore and not what's for unlocking guardian raids
