I think you misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm not saying take away casual mode, I'm saying you can get hit by nearly every mech and timestop most gimmicks and clear. You don't need to teach 3x/3x+1, battle items, etc. Just have all the mechs that are removed added back in and make failing patterns or mechs kill you, like the real raid would without a support etc.

depends on if he just wants to power pass closer to the newest content. If they enjoy the game and wanna experience and learn it all, just keep pushing. And it also depends if it's their only character. I would use the pass on atleast a new character no matter what if u can, cause the soloraid shop clear medal tokens are shared between all your characters.
So if u have a high level, u can do all the raids u can on that, and use the clear medal tokens on the lower level character to buy crafting gear for valtan, vykas, clown, brel, kay, akkan, and 3 elixirs a week.

Hi, I'm starting to play and I'm trying to choose my class but I'm a bit divided. I don't know if I should choose Deathblade or Wardancer and go Fist of Intention build. I like both characters and playstyles but I think I would maybe like the Wardancer a bit more (fast playstyle, lots of apm). However, I've seen that the Deathblade is a better class than Wardancer and have a lot more damage output. Does it make that much of a difference or can I safely pick Wardancer and still be wanted for end game content raids and bosses?

Brel ancient gear starts at 1525 and you hone it to 1580. You then gear transfer it to Akkan ancient gear traditionally. It starts at 1585 and you hone it to 1620. They do the soft reset to "reset" the honing process so you get higher odds and the level doesnt increase forever
Because the powerpass gives you free akkan gear you skip the gear transfer process

we only have 2 range dps skills. Azure Dragon and T-skill.
but if she doesnt do any of those annoying moves during your burst window then its really fun with really good dps.

It's only "hard" because you're not strong enough to kill it, your item level is too low
And you don't need to kill it, just focus on the story, you can always come back later to bully it when you're stronger

Anyways, yesterday i did the quest for forest minuet and song of resonance and explored the blocked areas from before so i call that an achievement already
I think i got nothing else to do apart from following the main story in arthentine
I have some quests but they are in sushire sea and i don't want to go there for now
Everything from before arthentine except the chaotic chuo and some rapports is done
Prob after arthentine or vern ill come back and do the chaotic chuo boss and get that out of the way
Btw, is it worth to go trade the island souls everytime i get one or should i just gather some and trade them later?
I got like 2 or smthing, but since they are 100+ idk if its worth going there everytime i get a new one

I respect everyone's vision, but i have been playing games since 2008, and what i've learned is that theres different types of players
I respect people who grind everyday for hours just to get a piece of equipment with +1 stat than before
It's simply not for me anymore, i had that time in Metin, Blackdesert etc
I like the game overall and the story is fine, i play for that
I get told a lot that the game isn't for me, but i stay for the campaign and some people that are here everyday answering my questions
I simply im too old to be grinding for hours for a different equipment, i just want to enjoy the game on my own way

you can't fully complete everything as you go in this game, to fully do everything in horizontal in one area, you basically have to do it everywhere, it's intentionally made so everything is interdependent

i'm 37 i got to many hours in this game (5 digits) i mean its my "goto game" nowadays. I got into mmo's from WoW back in the day after playing diff type of games. my hours dont reflect on my progression however i just play with some friends finish my raids and start to do other activities with the ppl i play with (other games) or just hang out.. going back on horizontal it was a thing i was into back in the wow days so i guess the only thing i can relate to that with what u is sayin is "im to old / just fed up lol with it" maybe in another game ill do it but something about lost ark I tried to put that effort towards my collectibles.. my highest is world tree leaves xd

Its not a righ comparison, but from the mmos ive played (lost ark, blackdesert, metin) - lost ark for the story, metin for the endless hours of farm, blackdesert for "raids"
