Star of Destiny is the beginner card set. Gives 3% dmg.
In the card menu click the orange checkbox on the cards in the Deep Dive set. These can all be bought from Wandering Merchants. Time gated but this is your next step up in card set.
Also tag Light of Salvation. This is the high end card set. Only a couple cards can be bought from wandering merchants

Thats most of what you need to start your character. Not everything can be fixed up right this moment. But getting correct Spec accessories will make a MASSIVE difference. Beyond that learning the fights and mastering how to play your class can be more impactful to your dps than most other sources

No. Class engraving books dont matter anymore. Youll still want to read the books for your combat engravings for future gearing in Tier 4
Just toss em in sotrage and maybe one day theyll be useful

if u have resources push to 1490.. there is solo content you can do as well to clear raids for the lower progression if you're new to mechanics etc i'd suggst to watch a video based on raid.. Highly suggest @slate geyser YT content he does a really good job with his vids!

Yeah they removed the ability to enter chaos dungeon an unlimited number of times. Probably due to chaos botting.

To max out flowers on a piece you need 20 flowers sum across lv1-7
So technically you can leave 1 level at 2 flowers
But levels 1-4 are easier than 5-6-7
So u can get away with 2 flowers on one of them

Stagger remains constant unless the skill has Front Attack mod
So even if you are a back attack class your stagger will be the same regardless of position
