Best is whatever your highest skill is and what you roll on tool. Time wise logging is fastest if 2 man.
In the end it also depends on market state. Let's just say the last time I checked it was hunting in euc yes
Money wise it might be the best to go for excavating if lucky. But I'd just recommend logging to everyone always since it's fast and still pretty good

You dont need advanced honing right away its already big boost to get character from 1620 to 1640 yu can focus on it later - since 1600+ there are elixirs, transendece, advancede honing, T4 ark passive, hyper and T skills and advanced honing its not cheap its better use golds for elixirs, trans and from T4 advanced honing uses T4 materials so yu have to also farm a little bit or buy 😄

Well advavnced honing its not useless but its not cheap... its pretty expensive and If yu have max trans then weapon can have trans too - yu have to go Behemot raid which is raid of 16 ppl its sometimes mess - better is focus on trans, elixirs and if yu have these then yu can think about advanced honing. I have 3x chars on 1640 and one 1660 and only my main have full trans and advanced honing + weapon trans 😄

there is no reason to stay t3 except for advanced honing which u won't be able to do unless u've already done echidna or have friends who will carry u
u wont get groups as 1620 either unless ur a support with friends

a good example of not pushing 1640 immediately for me was ignite characters. They give you 30 echidna scales which allows you to adv hone ur weapon.... I got 10 on weapon then kept 1 piece of armor T3 where i adv hone 10 that one piece later
can get some T3 shards from the solo dungeon vendor every week or if u have a lot of extra bags from events u can use them

1640 is required to play with other ppl imo, and its a huge damage boost because of the T skill and hyper awakening. Just go into T4 unless you know what you're doing with advanced honing.
