i survived g1/g2 but died on g3 and no one seemed to mind

I'll be honest, I already know Lost Ark end-game most likely isn't for me, I don't think I even enjoy the Legion & Abyssal raids at all. I do enjoy Guardian Raids. So I'm just playing Fashion Ark atm and doing other things for fun.

Well that's personal preference, but as you get deeper into the game, I recommend you giving another try to the end game. It's very fun when you CAN play it.

they are easy compared to normal raids, even easier when you over gear them but they do require an understanding of your class and the raid to clear

Thats awesome. My gf is in love with the Artist class, which she enjoys, she just was also put off by how hardcore this game can get. We enjoyed Guardian Raids together, but once we got to Abyssal and Legion she burned out faster than me and dropped the game lol.

It figures, artist is the ayaya I mentioned. For supports everything is a bit easier. They have self heal, ultimate that gives shields, it's a game that needs to be learnt, but once you do, it's worth it. Very worth it IMO. No game got my attention like this (mmo)

The problem with the event is where would new players get the gold to hone, once they hit 1580 they are screwed, plus it doesn't give good accessories, it gives only 4 gems, doesn't set their skills, tripods etc to something reasonable, I've had to help out a few new players fix their characters

That was the exact problem I had. The game basically just throws you at end game and overwhelms you and you don't even get enough time to learn and experience the game. I always enjoyed the journey of getting to end game, not end game itself, since I already know end game in most games is just repeating the same thing over and over x infinity.

I finished the Ignite stuff, had a horrible experience with the raids as a brand new player, and then I decided to just make an alt and play the game normally from level 1 with my gf for fun and I ended up having way more fun doing that, but like the other guy said, thanks to the Ignite event all the old towns and dungeons are pretty dead, I didnt see a single person in the starting towns.

I havent gotten far enough on that alt to tell you how the queues are yet though, since I'm just casually playing that character and enjoying the story.

I do know that all of the story dungeons can easily be done by yourself or with your own friends at least, so far.
