if you are in elgacia i assume you're 1540 then hone til +19 and do akkan for decay eyes then craft akkan gear with that and transfer your old to new akkan gear

if you have a high level character, you can do the latest raids, which give you the most amount of gold

with that you can level up other characters, sure

you can also research some help in your stronghold if you do that

iirc there is some research that lowers the gold and material cost of upgrading

once you have your ignite character, it should be at 1620, you can transfer it to the real server, you'll get a chest full of gear that'll allow you to go straight to 1640

after you transferred you can hone up your old main with the 200.000 gold that you get

(which is for all of us here in unison a complete waste of gold)

but you do you

honing to 1580 will cost you about 40k gold once you aquire brelshaza gear

1580 to 1620 is for example extremely expensive without any help- it'll cost you roughly half a million to about a million gold

that's why everyone is telling you to just make that ignite character your main

without events and expresses, regular leveling and honing takes alot of time and ressources

but yeah, go make your ignite character

follow the youtube guide

get it to 1620 (the rewards below are not worth it, so only transfer once you hit 1620)

delete inbetween your gunslinger in advance- it takes 2 days to delete a character, 1 day to select it for deletion, 2nd day to confirm its deletion

then you transfer

while transfer you do NOT want to roster transfer, you take the option to ONLY transfer a character (otherwise it REPLACES your current roster), make sure you pick the server where your main is

you log in on that new character

you pick up all your rewards

then return to your main

and do whatever you want

200k gold is plenty to get you through the story for a while

make sure you get your main only to 1580, not further than that

the main trick is to go into abyss dungeon and guardian raid and leave to complete quest to get mats
then you dont need to do anything extra and just hone and open boxes to hone more to open boxes

~15 min per character 3k gold each, depending on rng you might need 10-15 of them

Thats veteran goal oriented way, you can do solo raids on them as well to play a game and get gold, obv takes much longer but over all better process, i recomend mix.
