if you have a full roster im sure it makes it more easy.. before i made 6 i had a 1600+ within 2 days (just by 2 chars alone) and i made 6 chars within 2 hours at 1580 minimum

you get about 9k per character doing akkan/kay/brel1-3 iirc

and you only need like 30k or so to get 1620 on average

yea reaching 1580 is easy on ignite. i did it in less then 20min without doing choas/guardian or raids. i did have to buy a few event chest cause i ran out of leaps trying to get to 1560. but 1560-1580 was all the free mats they gave me.
i was more worried about the 1580+ hones

you can do it incredibly fast just by creating alts and deleting them over and over, alternatively you do solo raids. solo akkan is around 25~min if you know what ur doing, of course better if you can run it in group content but that risks exploding the time limit i mentioned (can be a very easy jail even in nm akkan)

though, iirc there were more ignite nerfs so I think it should be fine to do it in groups?

Hello I am a new/returning player and I just hit level 50 recently. I was able to do 2 chaos dungeons but now when I click the "content list" button it does not open, I am in vern so not in an instance or anything. (every other menu works and the hot key alt + q also doesn't work)

Step 1. Reclaim your characters from the Universal Storage on the character select screen.
Step 2. Login and claim your cards on the Universal Storage tab on the card menu using ALT+C.
Step 3. Reclaim your roster storage by using ESC and opening Universal Storage.
Step 4. Re-equip your cards as they were reset and must be re-equipped.

Combat level isn’t really how players measure progress in lost ark. Item level is what people use to measure progress. Anything below item level 1490+ is really dead. Match making in general is also really dead except for the newest guardian raid dailies at 1600 item level or higher. No dungeons or raids use match making due to difficult mechanics.

There also is no reason you should be doing the story since the Ignite Server gives you a free boost and a bunch of other stuff.

but to get rid of them you need to bait the vines following you to eat them

usually by just walking over them and then let the vine swallow the orb

If I remember correctly, paladin was the slow and steady support, artist the "spam everything off cooldown" support, and bard the calculated "use the right skills at the right time" support. Is this still the case or was I just misinformed anyways?

Guys, the game stutters here and there no matter how good is your hardware? 🤔
Seems like in raids and chaos dungeon the game is more optimized or something, it may stutter like once at the start but afterwards it is stable

Game is poorly optimized so it has a hard time using the full power of your hardware. Not much you can do

A lot of the stutters are disk/loading rather than GPU I am pretty sure, so having a 4090 wont help.

UE3 loading is based on 20 year old hardware standards

At a guess they would also be doing anti-tamper checks from EAC (and probably the built in UE3 engine one) on every file load too. Plus any UI texture load will full flush all texture streaming (which is why doing UI operations in a decorated stronghold sucks so hard)

I have personal experience reworking the UE3 loading routines for some games, they are not designed to handle content at the scale of a modern MMO without significant changes.

Yeah it helps, but proper rework of the design can lead to same hardware having 80%+ improvements in load times

That said, biggest, BY FAR, improvement to PC load times we saw was proper configuring of antivirus. Windows Defender is TERRIBLE for UE3 games especially (and bad for modern games too). Seen some examples where defender vs non defender with default UE3 PC packaging went from 3 minutes to 20 seconds. Same hardware, same CPU, just disabling Windows Defender.

This would be very dependent upon your version of windows. Older versions let you disable it and keep it disabled, newer home versions will auto-re-enable itself if it doesnt detect some other antivirus installed. You can disable that via a few ways, but MS keeps removing them =/
