Getting into raids as a super new player ain't gonna be pretty if you don't have a group already, friends, guild, static etc, that will take a lot of time

But you can perfectly play solo raids, you have a permanent engraving help for all characters on tier 3 and accessories aren't hard to come by (with the correct stats)

Will take more time compared to a DPS char to clear raids but it's doable, however solo play and party play is the sun and the moon of difference on gameplay

For supports specifically
