So for instance, say you have your Class Engraving on your Engraving slot on your Character window and you have gotten all your Legendary books for it so its +12 for your Class Engraving.

You get an Accessory that has, for instance +5 Comabt Engraving / +3 Class Engraving.

That would make your Class Engraving Level 3 (each level being 5 pips/points/nodes) with 15 pips/points/nodes active.

I am reading this guide for jump start and I have a few questions. I am starting with a paladin:

1. What is 5x3? In the engraving section they have 5 choices, but I only see the 2 engravings on my character page. I have to use two of these slots for blesssed aura, which is only one of the engravings recommended by the paladin guide. Is this correct?
2. I am starting at 1415, but I am playing a support build so naturally I don't feel that strong. I tried using the matchmaking features for guardian raids, but it takes a very long time to match. Is this normal?
3. I tried one raid after waiting for about 5 minutes. I spammed all my holy abilities and kept the party shielded/healed so it seems thats the whole play style? I am unsure
4. Even though I am boosted, I assume 1415 still requires me to do the dailes to collect honing materials to advance to 1460 so I can go to elgacia. is that correct
5. I don't have enough skill points to take everything in the guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/13q48wuWMMJ8bTJHf1ro_xOECS_OOzaEv0y47msJxt4g/edit#heading=h.2k6a20ybd2g9), I assume the guide thinks you are max level with all the tertiary content complete to get more skill points?

1. the two slots you see are for engraving effects, you can get the rest of the pips from accessories and stone. later once you need to build a 5x3 you cant double equip class engraving because that won't get you enough pips in other engravings to get 5x3
2. no one really matchmakes for low ilevel guardian raids anymore, try party finder, if you cant find a party just skip guardian raids until something like kunge
3. thats pretty much it, just make sure your brand is always applied and you don't overlap ap buffs. there are some more in depth support things you can do like using godsent to save a party member but for now just worry about brand, shield, and ap buff
4. yes
5. not expert on paladin but should have enough skill points for at least brand and ap buff

1. 5x3 is the amount of Engravings you have active at Level 3, that is 5 Engravings are Level 3 hence 5x3. You do not fill them out only with your Engraving Slots, it is the accumulation of points across Engraving Slots, Accessories and your Ability Stone.

2. At that ilvl it might take a little longer to find groups as most people are likely progressed beyond that point at the current moment.

3. As a Paladin for the most part yes, that is the playstyle. Its fairly...mindless, probably the easiest Support to play out of the three.

4. Yes, you will still need to do dailies and get materials and hone into higher ilvls. With your current gear you do not go beyond +15 on all your pieces of gear, which is 1490 ilvl.

5. The guide assumes max level and all collected Skill Points, which is why they will typically detail the priority of a skill or elaborate on its use briefly.

you should also learn about mass presets, so whenever you enter chaos dungeon or go to a raid or guardian raid, your skills automatically change to whatever you put there

no, that's what it is in game, you KT North Vern cost 600 gold, KT Punika 2.4k gold

per KT cost, it doesn't reduce if you use previous KT i don't think so
