You are required to play in group to progress your character. Raids are fun to learn and to reclear, the big problem is to enter the raid in the first place. A new player has to play for several months to reach the no gatekeep angle(a support won't join if a new player is in the party); even then, this game is currently a heavy waste of time. The game is designed to be unplayable without a support. You will spend hours a week waiting for a support to clear weekly content. If you don't get to endgame content on week of release, you won't find a party to clear it for a while. Learning parties might happen once or twice a week, you also need a support for this and will be very unlikely to get one. Would not recommend this game to anyone until they make support not mandatory.
