To specifically answer this it seems as though Yearning can negate the Move Speed reduction malice so long as you have 1570 swift if its lvl 1. I'll be honest I can't 100% remember if its considered additive or multiplicative.

So I think the main thing is that lost ark raids aren't "difficult" for player skill. I consider them to be frustrating because there are a lot of mechanics to learn and most of them will wipe the raid if you fail them, and later on these mechanics can be failed by a single individual error. But, that being said, on regular content you can complete the raid without too much difficulty if you complete the mechanics and stay alove, and press some buttons.

But it's the wiping that leads to the gatekeep which we discussed yesterday

Hell mode just ramps up the DPS check, essentially

So people need to be able to do uptime and do mechanics

I would say >95% of lost ark players are not skillful enough for hell mode

To me it would make more sense to have normal be able to be done as much as possible instead of hell just so more people can learn the mechs of a raid

The chest of 1415 gear you get for completing South Vern quests is also Bind on Roster. So if you go through the story and don't like the class you can send the relic gear to a different one. If you do that the only real non-useable item is the chest of 50 relic accessories you get for completing the story quest because that chest is bind on character.

It helped me out because I came back for the express event before the current one and finished it but people told me not to do Valtan and Vykas because we were getting another express event in August. August express event came and I used the powerpass on another character. Then found out you can't transfer legendary to relic. So instead of doing Valtan/Vykas to get relic as it would take weeks, I used story express on an Aeromancer and sent the South Vern relic chest to my main.

I'm a returning player and my friend is a completely new player, I kinda want to do the story again with him to let him experience the game from scratch. So I did some research about new features in Lost Ark such as Jump Start servers, and 2 possible paths we can take: Powerpass to South Vern or Story Express. I guess if we want to play story and still use some benefits we should go with a Story Express, but there's a sentence in the new-player-tips channel, which makes me wonder if for some reason we should create a powerpass to vern character first and then move on with story express on another one, if yes then why? Making 2 characters isnt a bad idea. The rewards from using a powerpass and the hyper express are pretty good, wouldnt want to miss out. We should also get another set of powerpasses/hyper express with the new class release in Nov.
