I'm a new player at this game. I'm confused why I didn't get any southvern pass but my 2 other new friends (first time playing as well) got theirs south vern pass instantly without playing the game yet.

So I had to grind mine from lvl 1 to lvl 55 and only got a vern pass. I did the story express and completed MSQ till I finished south vern.

Unlike the other raids, the raid just straight up ends if you damage him enough. Not really any forced mechs iirc.

Clown is still worth learning and doing with people if you have the patience. It's actually good practice for a bunch of the more difficult raids. At the end of the day the game is supposed to provide a challenge and if you enjoy that it's worth doing. It's only "frustrating" or "despair" if you are playing with people that don't want to learn, clearly haven't practiced marios and just want to be carried through.

And do you recommend a fresh start like that, would it be hard to catch current stuff?

Los30 is ~8% stronger than los18 yeah

The only issue with your scenario is if you factor in mechs and uptime, its not always a 1:1 conversion

the los30 8% damage is additive to the los18 7% damage, so your actual damage increase is 1.15/1.07 ~= 1.075 or 7.5% damage
