If you are progressing relatively normally, you generally need to focus on leaps, because there isn’t a lot of content with leaps in (hence why people do leap unas)
If you are pushing very hard on a new character, shards tend to be the bigger problem because shards are very expensive to buy in large amounts

you're just not familiar with the game systems, it doesn't show you the levels in the skill window if they only have the one level, but in trixion it will show those +- bars for every skill even if it has only one level
you can clearly see in his screenshot that the ones highlighted are only lv1 and he cannot click +, and the one that has LV 1 in yours is the only one that can be leveled in his screenshot

I had checked out the community guide and it didn't recommend entropy but was unsure if it hadn't been updated since the new balance patch or if it was because we don't have the high end flasks. I'll try it tonight, definitely think I'll play better without constantly trying to back attack

mechanics become a lot easier to understand once you experience them
after that its just about knowing what comes next
