I understand what you're saying. But my concern is

1. Sure a server of only new players aren't gonna get gatekept. But are there even enough people to keep the econonmy afloat? Enough people to queue for a guardian raid and not have to wait 15 minutes? Enough people to learn Valtan without having to wait in lobby for 3 hours? We can't pretend lost ark is brining in that many new players. And if that player base is SPLIT between normal and special servers...

2. How are they gonna transition into the normal servers eventually? Surely this can't be a thing forever? If it's forever then isn't a death trap for those who might play the game long term, started recently and is stuck on a dead server forever? Would it not be better for them just to suffer on the normal servers but at least be able to get to enjoy the game normally once they get past the intitial big hurdle.

In Raids it comes down to your knowledge of the patterns and mechanics, there aren't really any actual steep DPS checks in the game

So long as you have sufficient uptime on your DPS you're fine, and that comes with knowing the fights

Not tanking, its just "tanky". There is no tanking in Lost Ark as there are no aggro/threat mechanics present. Any Taunt skill is more of a kind of CC and also does not work on the endgame bosses in Legion Raids.

Well first off, there is no "keeping up" with the "top 1%" as they will always be ahead of you, but as for keeping up with the actual content of the game its not that bad at all. Also to clarify, you don't need a plethora of characters all high ilvl to successfully advance yourself forward, doing that actually has the exact opposite outcome. Realistically you could play 1 character and be fine so long as you don't FOMO about anything because Player Z is higher ilvl than you and did such and such content before you did. If you want to play alts then 2 to 3 are sufficient and you don't need to push them to 1540 or anything like that as that requires gold investment for honing. Up to 1490 does not use gold for honing, however.

On the 16th we will be getting an update that will add some progression events as well as a number of QoL updates for the daily things like Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids.

For those who havent played Grand Chase Classic or Elsword, the monetization there is that your gear score being high is sometimes directly related to the pet and coordi set (essentially outfit) you use, and its a gatcha, getting a pet and an outfit (per character) can cost on avg. 100 to 150 dollars, and you have to play a good few of the chars in those games to progress, there are something like 18 chars.

Yeah you wouldn't need to transfer it anywhere, you would just upgrade that gear. The only times you're transferring enhancement level is when you're "advancing" from one set of gear rarity to another.

So for instance the blue/purple gear from the start of T3 you would transfer up to Legendary (which I believe the South Vern power pass gives you, then you would transfer Legendary into Relic when you get your Relic set but that comes from doing Legion Raids.

Well the training dummy is for combat levels, so if you have a character already at level 60 it'll take several weeks of just running the character on the training dummy to get it to level 59

Keep in mind this game is pretty mainly PvE and Legion Raids are focused more on mechanics and knowing boss patterns. DPS is a factor, of course, but every class does more than enough DPS to be able to clear the content
