You don't. You understand this game is fundamentally p2w and very grindy. If you feel like you need to do stuff on/near release you'll have a very bad time a new player. The only shortcut if you have tons of IRL money to spend on this game. Otherwise you just have to be patient.
The game is still very fun at its core despite the p2w. Instead of trying to do akkan on release on your main. Maybe you can make more characters and play them for fun. Take advantage of the two express events coming up especially. And long term, if you have a few more alts set up. You can stop honing them and do raids every week which can make you money.
Honing to 1490 is easy now, and to 1540 is within reason. You're trying to partake in the most grindy up to date stuff. But eventually they will make that alot easier too. If up to you how you want to enjoy the game. Personally I recommend the more alts to play lower content whic is fun and makes you money, instead of getting frustrated trying to to get the latest stuff ASAP.

I honestly feel like focusing on getting to the latest content is only gonna make you frustrated and want to quit. If you take it slow and just enjoy the game I think that's a more enjoyable experience. The combat is the best thing ever in this game. You can enjoy that on multiple characters even if you're just doing older raids. Akkan isn't going anywhere. Eventually you'll get enough 1580 hoing books and they'll reduce the cost to hone at some point too(though that might be a while).

It's pretty extreme relatively speaking. Sure there are some fringe as/more grindy MMOs out there but FF14 and WoW(the two biggest MMOs BY FAR) are both pretty easy to gear in.

but give people who dont wanna go thru all the bullshit mechs have a not so hard time at least, give casuals something to enjoy and make progress, even if slowly
