Each gate is a “checkpoint”
You can pick up where you left off with a group also at that same gate at any time.

each gate count as a save point and resets back to gate 1 once the week is over. so if you get stuck in gate2, then u have to join another group stuck in gate 2 in order to continue.
because u already cleared gate 1, you cant join a group that hasnt done gate 1 yet. u can only arty with people that are in the save save point as you

you can retry as many times as you want with as many different groups as you want as long as they are stuck in the same gate as you before the raid week ends

gear transfers dont have a set level requirement. so if you wish, you can skip clown and kayangel and keep your lvl1 set and still be able to transfer to akkan gear. the only req for gear transfer is that you have the previous gear set. for example to transfer to brel ancient gear you need to have relic.
Akkan gear > Brel ancient > Relic > Legendary. the gear set level itself doesnt matter

Well, thinking about it more I don’t think there is much of a contest. Brel g6 can just kill parties off with annoying overlaps, and can be really tough with low DPS

Shadowhunter and Machinist are transformation classes. They fill up a meter and "transform" into a new form with new skills. The transform state counts up to approximately 90% of your overall DPS and you only technically need 2 gems for the build, 1 damage gem and 1 cooldown gem for the special transform skills.
