Taijitsu Scrapper especially has some of the best utility (stagger and weak point) out of any classes

If you want an easy way to make a bit of gold just to complete it, do some life skilling like fishing and sell a stack of 100 fish for like 300 gold

Pretty much the only piece people ideally don't start with is weapon since it will just keep you from having more pieces equipped earlier on
