Let's say the hyper express event we're getting in a month is the same as the current korea one with the level 7 gems at 1540 and level 8 gems at 1580(which seems likely seeing we're getting the other stuff right away).

What would the max ilevel you can hone a character to before that character is not eligible to participate anymore(for example IIRC a 1460 event of the past could only be used by 1415 and below)? Is it 1540? Lower that that? Do we know or any educated guesses? Trying to decide where to park an alt at.

oh yea, u can keep using chaos dungeon gear. hone Vern gear until 600 then you can do Yorn story(T2) to unlock t2 chaos that give 802 gear then hone that to 1100. then u will need to do Punikka(T3) which will give you 1302 gear
