I think the lesson is, don’t just mindlessly follow general text. Most mechanics do follow the x3/x3+1 stuff. But in g1, there is only one positional mech and it’s in the cardinal (x3, nesw) positions

If you watch a good video guide of the gate you should be able to follow the mech and understand why the positions are there too

I recommend either ATK or memorizer for the easiest to understand guides for western audience

I think if you use other guides, they will be of more questionable quality and/or comprehensiveness

The unknown error keeps resetting the narration option when I open the game and ever single movement the game lags and stutters even though my internet connection is fine, also the loading for everything is just takes hours

I’ll just stick with 1.5 cycle until later on. I’m too poor to afford better acc.

I get that error on occasion with the narration thing, you'll be fine on that. As for movement, do you have the Latency view enabled so you can see your ping? Loading taking ages is a normal thing, UE3 and EAC are the main reasons
