Weekly raids can only be done once per week per character and there are a lot of them, you have abyss raids like oreha, argos, or legion raids like vykas, this raids can be done in groups of 4 or 8

Its a sort of new player system to just help get you through that stuff, but realistically you don't even really need to do Guardian Raids in T1 and T2.
