Story express gives you stuff every time you clear a continent, some stuff includes already pre-honed armors, you have to not hone a single time up to south vern, in which it gives you legendary +0 armor (plus a lot of goodies perfect for new players)

Both aforementioned events lets you use 1 characters (or rotate out to another qualified character for rewards) starting 1340 and helps up to 1445 or 1460 in HEE2 case.
