Because you can't list from the ctrl+right click menu. You have to go into the Market/Auction House with alt+y and then go to Auction House and click Register at the bottom of the window

You can list it from there. Hit the search button. It’ll automatically search the exact stone (or whatever) you have using the advanced search function. Helpful for price checking as well.

I’d skip the awakening quest. You should get a free punika power pass that’ll auto complete it for you.
Awaking quest takes like 8 hours to complete
