• i'd urge you to get at least 6 characters, not only does it accelerate your progression but it also provides variety which is important
• imo relic doesnt really matter of how knowledgeable you are, stick to the class documents for general build advice and dont overcomplicate things
• from what im experiencing, you will get gatekept most likely anyway due to your roster level, which will change anyway soon enough if you start doing adventurers tome - so even if you have valtan and vykas for example down perfect, you probably will still face prejudice due to your roster level

you have 2 hyper expresses to help with that

do not make 6 chars from the get go

game wont go anywhere, as you keep playing and if you have the time and mental will, you can create up to 6 chars total (more if you pay for some ticket slots), but its gonna be very demanding and will lead to quick burntout

so just chill and enjoy

you should also have an easier time getting into parties, since supports dont need that much investment to be good/efficient
