I'd say pick one of the 500+ ilvl characters assuming you want one of them to be your main and continue pushing that one into T3. You'll be able to get a free punika power pass from doing the Berver's Friend quest that will allow you to boost a secondary character up to 1340.
However I would actually highly recommend making a fresh character to take advantage of the Story Express and get the rewards it offers at the end considering the current state of your roster to be very early on in terms of progression, so it would actually provide a good deal of benefit to you.
The story express will expedite that characters journey all the way to 1340 ilvl and you can either make it your new main if you so wish or just have it function as an alt.

relatively yes, the entire playerbase is in tier 3, which is 1302 item level and higher. you can solo pretty much everything in lv1-50 and somewhat easy in tier 1 and 2

Hi all, sorry if this question pops up often, but unfortunately when I search for it online i see all types of different replies and I assume it has to do with the current events of the game during those time periods.
I'm a returning player having played at launch for like a couple of months and wanted to come back in the game, unfortunately and obviously i am totally lost. Have a sorc at 1040 and alts at like only 300-500, ive logged in to all of them but I just found myself totally lost in what to do.
Is there any advice/guides you can provide in regards to that and to catch up? Possibly with a new character since I have no clue what I did with the sorc anymore

no guides but i can tell u as someone who came back and had only a t2 gunslinger and barely t3 oreha wells deathblade
ideally give you sorc (assuming its the class you enjoy most) the hyper express event, the honing chances/costs have all been reduced till that lvl so should be relatable easy to do
depending on whether its eligible look at giving story express to 1 of your alts as well
both story express and hyper express gives you stuff but the key diff to me is that HYPER express gives free 4 engraving to use till june (meaning you have leeway to just farm gold/resources till then without having to sink in much)
also do the naruni racing and una task event atm for freebie to aid u along the way
for class guides can either take a look at the below few for references:
- maxroll (basic basic guide)
- community guides (google, should be first search)
- loawa (kr top player builds, not really applicable due 1 content being not out yet and will break your wallet BUT gives you a vague idea of endgame perfect build at least)
also dont bother trying to gear for ancient, that dream is too far for new players like us, focus on cards/engravings/gems and getting your fav char to doing 3 legion raids atm for some income
dont go the min max route of doing 6 char either since a friend of mine is losing his sanity from doing that since game launch

From this level you can basically play the game like a brand new player. Focus on getting to ilvl 1340 or so since that's where most of the content is these days

These hyper events and story passes, I dont think I can use them yet, I saw some pops up in the game, but i couldn't select anything. I think they require me to go and finish Punika first and increase ilvl? I didnt manage to get to it when I was still playing.
I think I'd like to reroll to a new class since I dont remember sorc anyway, but you would advise to just push through a bit with the sorc so I can unlock those things to use on a new char?

there are honing buffs in place for newbies like us to 'catch up' (quote marks here cus it really isnt enough lel)
playstyle wise......cant really give you an idea since i too had to go thru the self discovery journey of realising whether i like a class anot when i came back and started doing legion raids
regardless wouldnt advise to reroll, too much time lost and too many progression perks (think amount of una tokens, honing research from stronghold, gold/resource income etc.) is locked based on ilvl, rerolling just wastes your previous hours sinked in on that char however little that may be

you get 2 hyper expresses (the one with 4 engraving) essentially within this time frame (one for the recent artist release and 1 next month iirc for slayer)
dont really lose much using 1 on sorc, also assuming u meant reroll on a new class other than sorc/slayer i think u underestimate the amt of story you have to sit thru to get to the main game of legion raids at the end (common criticism of playing alts is sitting thru the story again)

tbh dude. in endgame - all classes need to kinda learn the same as far as mechanics obviously for raids. its honestly just a choice of DPS or Support. and then after that its all personal. all classes have a ceiling and low floor.

For rewards I'd imagine it might be another round of gold nerfs for the lower tier raids and increasing crafting mats gained(maybe clown horns for example), like they've done in the past.
How can "entry limits" change though? Hasn't it always been 3 legion raids? What is the problem being addressed here? Do people want 2 or 4 as the limit or something(and why)?

Realistically speaking we need a significant reduction in honing cost/homework, even for the end game players. And a MASSIVE decrease in relatively outdated content. The "silver honing system" should extend to at laest 1475 for example so the retention rate of new players won't be as godawful. Every game needs new players to replace those who quit. But yeah we can only hope.

To try and tldr it the best as I can, when you are trying to convert Red Crystal to gold it gets converted into Blue Crystal for the transaction. And conversely people are using their own gold to convert or purchase Blue Crystal.
You're essentially making a market listing for either one when you are selling RC or if you are converting gold to BC you are purchasing the BC from one of the listed prices.

k, first, lopang slave is a term used for characters that just do daily una's to get silver, which is a very important and scarce resource in lategame, people do this if the alts are in a good spot and they need to hone main or whatever, second, 1360 is not even a parking spot for alts, its a bad number and brings you nothing new nor good, you want to bring them to 1415 at the very least, best spot being 1445 since it has increased rates on hone chance and doesnt cost any single gold coin, the only thing you need to be aware of is building them, giving them a nice and cheap 4x3 engraving setup so they can go and enter/clear legion raids, third, get your main up as well, you're 4 hones from brel, so, if you want to bring more alts to the table, 1445, when your main hits 1490, you can start bringing alts to 1460 for vykas hm gold
