I guess while we're here. Why are they releasing content so fast? The classes I can understand. But isn't the current pace of playable content release and the corresponding honing requirements too fast? Akkan in august already seems slightly too early to me and it sounds like normal AND hard mode will release by then(why not give people some time between releases like normal/HM brel?).

Is this what the players generally want? And I'm just the minority in thinking the pace is too fast? Or is this more of a business decision to get as much money ASAP while they still can? Or something I'm not thinking of?

I see. New stuff is always better in insolation(if honing wasn't a thing). But new stuff cannot be organically created at the speed we're receiving them now. Korea by definition cannot get a new raid every 6 month right? And this is similar to even the most popular MMOs like WoW or FF14. You play the same raid tier for like half a year or more even.

To me, I think it's better to space out the content more so in the next year or two while catching up to korea. It gives people more time to get enough mats to hone in a pretty grindy game. It sets a cadence that's akin to most MMOs.

Because what's going to happen when we do finally catch up to korea? When we receiving content as the same time as them? If we're getting them THIS fast and this is what people want. They'll hate the game by then?

But perhaps neithers the West Devs or the players are thinking that long term? Or just have difference preferences from me? I kinda get it but I mostly don't tbh.

Just cuz you have a 144hz monitor does not mean you are going to be at 144 fps all of the time

Its likely it will cap at that point due to vsync and typically not wanting FPS to go above the refresh rate of your monitor anyway

Yeah but for wanting to maintain 144 fps minimum all through a play session...asking for a bit much. I'm on a 3060 TI, 32gb RAM, Ryzen 3 2600x (I'm CPU capped I know) and I at 120-144 fps when not around a bunch of players but only drop to like 60 FPS when I am

I'm assuming you used a North Vern power pass you got for free which only gets you to 302 ilvl. You need to do things like Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids to get honing materials so you can hone your gear up to 460.
