I experienced my fair share in WoW. It’s just something to get used to. I haven’t found a guild/ppl to play with yet. Just been solo so far.

i was in a learning group 2 days ago, helped them do vykas, it lasted 5 hours

was tough

but we made it at the end

Although yesterday I did clown practice and kinda enjoyed the learning process. We didn’t get pass the maze though since it was matchmaking and no discord.

i pity that they had to make it this way, since newbies kept joining homework and ruining it
i'm just hoping there's a way to actually get around it as a new player, so you can progress

i know people not having the courage to take initiative and work to make their own learning party rather than having others do the work contributes to perceived lack of parties a lot
i'm just wondering if the game is at the point where even if you made an early content learning party no one joins because they've all moved on

for me it's less about being gatekept and more of "are there actually people around with whom i can play with to progress"

Well i decided to give it a shot despite clearly not being my type of game aka Diablo Poe and such but really like it at least with controller but damn is the game absolutely not friendly for new player

nowadays, i would recommend getting into a small community (doesnt need to be a guild, important stuff is region wide) so you can get a bit more help and people could help you with a raid or two

I've got a 7/6 6 being grudge and 7 being adren if I go +1 on grudge then it will be 1 point over 15 for no reason because the book is 9 + stone 6 = 15
