As Waiting said, thats item level, its a numerical value in the game that essentially helps determine the "power level" of your overall equipment.

As you're leveling to Combat level 50 it isn't super important, but once you reach that point in the game that is going to be one of the main things you start progression on and leveling takes more of a backseat to it.

At your ilvl you're in what is referred to as Tier 1 (T1). It ranges from 302 ilvl to 600 ilvl, the next is Tier 2 (T2) and ranges from 802 ilvl to 1100 ilvl, after that comes Tier 3 (T3) which ranges from 1302 ilvl to currently 1590 ilvl.

T1 and T2 are very early game and most everyone is just beyond that point as you can progress through it very quickly with the help of either the Story Express or using Islands (https://maxroll.gg/lost-ark/resources/road-to-rohendel).

The only thing you need to worry about right now is pushing your ilvl to get you into T3 content.

you can use the punika powerpass on a character that already used a vern pass. the pass is just a fast foward that puts your character at that region. so a level 1 character will be put to punikka and a level 50 vern character will also be put to punikka if you use it on then
